Ayurveda, made the long way.

Traditional Ayurvedic formulas, made in India by our family-led parent company and tested for heavy metals, pesticides and microbes before release.

Who makes what you take.

We began in Fairfield, Iowa, in 1985, bringing traditional Ayurvedic formulas to American homes.

Our formulas are made in India by Maharishi Ayurveda Products, the family-led company Anand Shrivastava founded in 1986. His son, Ram Shrivastava, leads our US company today.

Where a recipe asks for months, our makers give it months, and every formula is tested before it reaches you.

Our name honors Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who led a revival of traditional Ayurveda beginning in 1980. You do not need to practice meditation to use our formulas.

Studied for more than 30 years, reported plainly.

More than 25 papers on Amrit Kalash are indexed in PubMed, the first in 1990. Most are laboratory and animal studies, and human trials are few and small.

Maharishi companies funded the 2024 systematic review and two of the three trials it covered, and many other studies come from Maharishi-affiliated researchers. Our research page lists each study with its type, who took part and, where the paper reports it, who paid for it.
